What Moves You

Summary: There are a lot of things that can move us to do something. We should be move by God's Word
EACH ONE CAN REACH ONE
WHAT MOVES YOU?
THIS EVENING I WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AT THE LAST 6 WORDS IN VS 4
*NO MAN CARED FOR MY SOUL.”
It is this preacher’s opinion that these last 6 words are one saddest words in the Bible.
WITH THESE 6 WORDS IN MIND AND WITH THE POWER AND THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, I WANT TO ASK YOU THIS EVENING WHAT MOVES YOU?
PRAYER:
ONCE AGAIN OUR THEME FOR 2021 IS EACH ONE CAN REACH ONE IN 2021
OUR THEME VERSE IS FOUND IN LUKE 14:23
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
WHAT DOES IT OR WHAT WOULD MOVE YOU TO CARE FOR PEOPLE – NOT JUST OUR FRIENDS – FAMILY – LOVED ONES – BUT FOR PEOPLE THAT WE WILL NEVER SEE – OR PEOPLE THAT WE DO NOT KNOW.
I do not know about you but this verse moves me. What this is saying there was a person in need. The need was not a physical need but a Spiritual need
He states I looked everywhere AND THERE WAS NO ONE – NOT ONE PERSON WHO CARED FOR HIS SOUL
NOT ONE PERSON WHO WOULD SHARE WITH HIM THE GOSPEL
NOT ONE PERSON WHO CARED ENOUGH TO GIVE SO THAT SOMEONE WOULD GO AND SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH – HE CAME UP WITH THIS SAD CONCLUSION NO ONE CARED FOR HIS SOUL – NO ONE CARED IF WENT TO HEAVEN OR HELL
AND NO ONE CARED FOR MY SOUL
Then I asked myself as member of SPRBC are we really concerned about souls of others? -
Does SPRBC care if the unsaved died in their sins to spend eternity in hell?
Does OUR CHURCH care that the lost die lost that are lost forever?
There are people in our community that is saying - *NO MAN CARED FOR MY SOUL
YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE SAYING - *NO MAN CARED FOR MY SOUL
YOUR FRIENDS ARE SAYING - *NO MAN CARED FOR MY SOUL
YOU FAMILY IS SAYING - *NO MAN CARED FOR MY SOUL
*I. WHY SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT THE LOST?
A. BECAUSE GOD CARES
TURN TO JOHN 3:14-17
Jesus speaking to Nicodemus said
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through him might be saved.
WHY SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT THE LOST?
BECAUSE GOD CARES
B. BECAUSE JESUS CARES
TURN TO ROMANS 5:6-9
Paul speaking of our redemption
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
WHY SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT THE LOST?
BECAUSE GOD CARES
BECAUSE JESUS CARES
C. BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT CARES
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
D. THE RICH MAN IN HELL CARES
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
E. SOMEONE CARED FOR YOU
If the Godhead cares and at least one person in hell right now cares about the eternal destiny of the souls of mankind.
Why are we so uncaring, indifferent or unconcerned about doing what ever it takes to see souls saved?
WHY DON'T WE CARE ABOUT LOST SOULS?
Are you listening I want you to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. In answering WHY DON'T WE CARE ABOUT LOST SOULS!
We have the excuses do we not? We have in all reality put a price tag on Lost souls!!

Sports
Lack Of Faith
Rest
You know what it really boils down to? Do we really believe in God's Word? Do we?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
