Summary: How God gives us life through his Grace.
WHAT THE GRACE OF GOD DOES
1st Corinthians 15: 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1. It brings Salvation to sinners.
Titus 2: 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
We are born sinners.
We remain sinners until we find Christ
He will lead us through his word and The Holy Spirit.
2. It saves them that believe.
Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
We must have Faith in him not our selves.
This is a gift of God not man
3. It justifies all who trust.
Romans 3: 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
This is for all who will except his righteousness.
You must be the one to ask and believe his promise to save you.
We are sinners with not hope except in Christ.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
4. It preserves those who are Christ’s.
1st Peter 5: 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
To God is all the Glory.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
