42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain. These things I have determined to do [for them]; and I will not leave them forsaken.

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are always determined to lead me in the way that I don't know, to lead me in paths unknown to me, to make darkness into light for me and to make uneven places into plain for me. VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. What will GOD do to the blind?

"And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain."

Who are the blind referred to this passage?

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not,.... The Targum interprets this of the people of Israel, thus, [John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible]

But in a more personal way, every believer is a blind sheep for we are the Israel of GOD.

John 9:39-41 (Amplified Bible)

9:39 Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgement [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind.

9:40 Some Pharisees who were near, hearing this remark, said to Him, Are we also blind?

9:41 Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but because you now claim to have sight, your sin remains. [If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but because you insist, We do see clearly, you are unable to escape your guilt.]

People in JESUS's days like the Pharisees were self-righteous because they think they're good enough because they follow the Law, but in their blindness, they never saw JESUS who has come to take the sins of the world, and believe, accept and serve JESUS for their salvation but they rely on "walking canes" for the blind like the Law to save them, but they don't rely on the One - the LORD JESUS CHRIST that will lead them by the hand directly to GOD.

Galatians 6:16 (Amplified Bible)

6:16 Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule [who discipline themselves and regulate their lives by this principle], even upon the [true] Israel of God!

"And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain."

GOD will do this for the blind and many more:

1. GOD will bring the blind by a way they don't know. The way ofcourse is the WAY HIMSELF - the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Yes, Israel knows the Law but they don't know and accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Fear of the unknown, I don't want that, what I want is even if I don't know the way or the steps that will happen in our lives as a family, I fully trust and depend on the LORD to lead me, for He knows the way, He is The Way, He has no personal agenda on me, but all for my benefit and enjoyment in this life.

Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified Bible)

29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

2. GOD will lead the blind in paths they have not known.
