Summary: Our Lord is coming again soon to take his Bride away. We shall all face the judgment, one way or the other. In that day, what will God remember about you; your sin, or your faithfulness?

What Will God Remember About You?

Sunday, January 30, 2011 – AM

By Pastor James May

The Love of God is moving in this place this morning. The Holy Spirit is stirring the hearts of those who bear the mark of Christ upon their foreheads. With every passing day we not only get a little older but we all are getting closer and closer to that hour when we shall stand before our Holy God and answer for the deeds we have done in this body. We preach and teach that the coming of the Lord to catch his Bride away in the rapture is imminent; even to the point that, in the Spirit, I sense that our Lord has already began his journey to the house of the Bride to claim her for his own.

This morning, as the Lord was speaking to my heart, I felt that there is something that we should do right now. Psalms 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Let us all stop for a moment and sense the moving the Holy Spirit in our midst and listen intently for the voice of the Lord.

Lamentations 3:22-25, "It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him."

I thank God for mercy and compassion for mankind that are new every morning. Where would we be today without God’s mercy? Where would we be without his compassion? I sense that mercy, that compassion; that Love of God reaching out to his Bride this morning in a way that I’ve never sensed it before. I just feel like God is trying to draw his people closer to his heart than ever before.

God is stirring the hearts of his people as never before. I feel in the spirit that Jesus is saying, “Make your final plans. Get ready for my coming.”

The words that John the Baptist preached just prior to seeing Jesus come down to that Jordan River where Jesus would be baptized are ringing in my ear. Luke 3:5-6 tells us the message that is going forth today just as it did then, "...Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God."

If your spirit is in tune with God’s Spirit; if your heart is one with the heart of God; if your thoughts are governed by the Mind of Christ, then you can’t help but feel a great stirring going on in the spiritual world; and the voice you hear is repeating the same words over and over in an attempt to let every one of us know that Jesus is already on the way.

The call of the Spirit of God from all sides is, “Trim your lamps, be filled with the Oil of the Holy Ghost; cleanse yourselves; prepare yourselves – Behold, the Bridegroom is coming!”

Turmoil in the world has been heightened again this week with revolution in Egypt and all of the nations of the world wondering what the long term repercussions will be, and once more you can hear the Spirit speaking to man, Jeremiah 8:20, "The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved." I believe that the time of the harvest is nearly over. We are down to the final days and the Spirit of the Lord is reaching out, bringing conviction for sin and pointing as many as will hear to the Cross of Christ where salvation can be found.
