The Ultimate Decision

August 12, 2014

Thank you for your prayers as I had an appointment with a surgeon yesterday for my back. He said that if he operated he could not guarantee that my pain would be alleviated. He did give me some other options so please pray that these other options of more injections will work. Many of us have physical pain that makes us wince when we walk. But what about the pain you cannot see?

One of my favorite comedians Robin Williams took his life yesterday. In a life of one who lives by humor he died from a broken heart. I do not know the circumstances but he got to the point where he lost ALL hope. Even an ounce of hope would have kept him alive. Could any of his friends done anything? I had read where he had been to numerous treatment facilities but the only person that could have saved Him was Jesus.

Many of you have declared your desire to be a Warrior for Jesus. There is no better calling than to live for the Lord and to share His love with others. THEN look and be aware of those who are hurting.

Ephesians 5:15,16 “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

Let me ask you these questions

1. What is more important, your agenda or people? You walk past people everyday contemplating suicide. If you are not looking you will not see.

2. Are you praying for God to show you through His Holy Spirit who you should talk to? - God knows who they are, please ask Him.

3. Are you hoarding anything that will not last for eternity?

4. What is your most important asset?

Are you making the most of every opportunity for YOURSELF or for others? Please do not hide under the excuse that you are trying to make a lot of money so you can give it away for missions. Even if you are doing this you are missing opportunities everyday to live in and by the Spirit. If your desire is to make a lot of money so you can give it to missions then there is a very good chance you will leave this earth before your plan unfolds.

Making the most of every opportunity NEEDS TO START NOW. I would like you to start today by sending me testimonials of what you prayed, who the Lord brought to you and then the outcome. This will keep you accountable and your testimony will encourage others to do the same. Why put all your money into the world of which there is NO RETURN in the end. Put your money to use where the Kingdom of God will grow and where you will not be bound to another.

1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

You have to ask yourself this question that if building your little earthly kingdom is more important than building a heavily Kingdom then are you saved? You may know of Jesus but does He know you????? How you spend your time and how you treat others is a good indication of where your affection lies. Be bold for the Lord and love Him like He loves you. When you can do that then you will not just have the worlds hope but eternal hope.
