Summary: Simply because you’re willing to wait Jesus will show up to walk past the inpotent, blind, halt and withered just to get to you.

When Jesus Sees You

"He Walks Past Everyone"

John 5: 1-8

After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

When Jesus Sees You He Doesn’t See Your Faults He Sees Your Needs.

This passage of scripture makes reference to a man who had an infirmity for 38 years and did not have anyone to help him in the pool when there was the stirring of the water so people were getting blessed before him though they were not with the infirmity that kept them from getting what they needed to get healed. What if I suggested to you that people will leave in your weakness just to get what you have been waiting for, for many years, they will literally step over you just to get there needs met when they know that you have a need yourself.

Thanks to the mercy of Jesus, when he sees you waiting patiently for a blessing he will look at you because he sees your needs when everyone else ignores them. Jesus here in this text spots out a man with an infirmity for a great period of time, however, Jesus knew that he had been in this predicament for a long time and asks him "wilt thou be made whole ?" his response begins as many of ours it begans with an excuse "I’m Co-Dependent upon Undependable People." for some reason we live dependent upon people when everything lies in the hands of God, yet we will make man our God and begin to question what we believe (Faith).

Co-Dependency is being practiced on a national level simply because we have been swayed through manipulation and domination that the only blessing was henged upon a man and while he was yet getting his he was leaving you behind, but God, unlike man loves one who will wait patiently for him to show up on the scene and take care of every need that he has heard you cry out. Will every need be met, that’s not an answer that I could give you, but one thing I do know is that in the timing of God he supplies your needs according to his Riches and Glory.

Because of patience Jesus has saw you and has walked past the blind because they are with out vision and have resources that you with your infirmity does not have, past the halt because they have activity that useful in part and can be people of resource and past the withered because they have abilities to access there destiny though crippled.

Jesus tells this man to do three things to be healed and he tells us the same.

1) Rise=Past (Leave from where you’ve Been) 2) Take up=Present (Go to you purpose) 3) Walk=Future (Don’t stop until you’ve reached your destinty)
