Summary: Jesus knew exactly what we need, that is salvation.

HOLY SPIRIT BLESS US

Luke 19: 28- 35

When we untie & loose, what’s next?

The Lord blessed us last Sunday with an inspiring message from the Lord through Bro. Anthony. What He said were all true and I do really believe that the Bible is a very important treasure that we must dig, open and study very well. It plays a very important role in our Christian life.

As what was written in the Bible that was read a while ago, Jesus time and ministry here on earth is approaching to an end. His mission - His death on the Cross for the redemption of mankind (that includes you and me) is about to happen…

And it happened. His mission was fulfilled. It was a victory!

As Jesus approached Jerusalem, He sent two of His disciples and instructed them to do the following:

V30. Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here.

Jesus knew exactly what He wants and he was very specific. Jesus knew that there is a colt tied that no one has ever sat.

This simple situation shows that Jesus knew the past and the present about this colt.

How much more that He knew about people whom He loves so much that He is willing to die on the cross because of their sinfulness/wickedness.

In the Gospel of John 1 , Jesus proves his power of knowing people by name and the circumstances about them..

V47. Jesus saw Nathaniel coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48. Nathaniel said to Him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49. Nathaniel answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!

50. Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, “I saw you under the fig tree.” do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”

Also in Luke 19: 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

These are situations in the Bible that tells us the reality that Jesus knew us by name and everything that takes place in our life.

Jesus knew that there is a colt tied that no one has ever sat. Jesus saw Nathaniel under the fig tree.

Jesus knew the name of that sinful tax collector, Zacchaeus.

Nothing is hidden in the eyes of God. He knew you and me. He knows our every situation and He is concerned about us. He knows exactly who we are even sinners like Zacchaeus.

So therefore, at this very moment, Jesus knows exactly what’s in our mind. If we are listening or not? Jesus knew that.

And because God knows who we are and what we are going through this time in our life, He wants to do something for you and me to make our life better.

He wants us to see and experience greater things in this life?

Here is Jesus’ instruction about the colt, “Loose it and bring it here.”

His instruction is crystal clear, “loose it and bring it here.”

My friends, You know yourself more than I do, but Jesus Christ knows everything about you from head to toe, from the rising of the sun to its going down…

= Jesus knew about your sickness… that you are in pain for so long.

= Jesus knew about your weaknesses and struggles that really affects your life and your relationship with other people.

= Jesus knew that you have trouble accepting other peoples joys and success.

= Jesus knew that you have pride that prevents you to forgive and accept other people.

= Jesus knew our vices… our frustrations… our dillemas... our worries… our deepest pains and our joys.

Because He knew about these things, He is always there for us.

My friends, untie and loose whatever it is that is holding you backwards. The things that pulls you down and prevent you from experiencing the joy of the Lord… Untie and loose it.

Let go of these things and Let God do it for you.

God has a remarkable plan for your life…Let the Holy Spirit move in you.

On the other hand, Jesus knew also that along the way, there is someone who will question the disciples.

31. And if anyone asks you, Why are you loosing it? Thus you shall say to him, “Because the Lord has need of it.”

The story tells us the exact question the owner asked to the disciples.
