1. Where Doubt Is

Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer; and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself. Isaiah 44:24

1) Some doubt when life begins.

2) Some doubt God even cares about us.

3) Some doubt that God created everything.

4) Some doubt God even exist.

Isaiah stated that four times in these verses that God created the universe and four times that God made Israel a nation. That he stresses that creative work of God.

Remember God’s great works.

When you face a problem that is beyond your ability to solve, wait for God to act in your behalf.

Where Doubt Is, God is not there!

2. Where Deceit Is

That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; Isaiah 44:25

Babylonian religion has returned today trough psychics and fortune-tellers. God still turns their advice into foolishness. We are wise when we avoid them and rely on God and His Word

In all the midst of great knowledge that is around us today. Some still turn to the thoughts and actions of those that claim to have found a new revelation.

God’s wisdom causes frustration to those that have pronounced themselves to be revelators.

When facing difficulties, some people tend to blame God and turn from Him. Often, they turn to deceitful sources of help and guidance. Isaiah showed how foolish this is.

The wisdom of the world can be so addictive that it can even the wise can be sucked into the revelations of those self-proclaimed revelators.

God proclaims that these self-proclaimed revelators have not the knowledge of God but the knowledge of fools.

Many voices claim to know the way, but only God’s counsel ultimately proves true.

Where Deceit Is, God is not there!

3. Where Hope Is

How does God most often speak to you? How does He inspire hope in you?

Isaiah 44:26

That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

God’s Word carries His authority and accomplishes His purposes; He never deserts His people.

Where Hope Is, God is there!

4. Where Help Is

Josiah was another king named in a prophecy years before he lived, in his case 300 years.

Isaiah 45:1-7

[1]Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

[2] I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

[3] And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

[4] For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

[5] I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: [6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. [7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

How is God working in your life?
