Who Is Satan Are The Devil

Summary: Satan is real today working in places we don't know.
WHO IS SATAN ARE THE DEVIL
Satan is not a little guy in red sitting on your shoulder trying to get us to sin.
He has power to temp us and turn us on the wrong path.
The truth is he was and Angel of the Lord.
Revelations 12: 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him
Isaiah 14: 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
He was created as a Holy Angel.(CHERB) one of the highest.
Ezekiel 28: 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
He was arrogant because of his beauty and status.
He wanted to sit on God’s throne.
He wanted to be in charge of all the angels.
Isaiah 14: 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Satan You have said in your heart.
I will ascend in to Heaven
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.
I will sit on the mount
I will be like the most high.
God moved him out of his position.
Satan became the ruler of this world
The prince of the power of the air
Job 1:7 |
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
He is the Accuser
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
He is the tempter
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
He is a deceiver
With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
He is a liar.
John 8: 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
His desstiny is sealed
Revelation 20: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
