VIII. MAIN BODY:

Luke 10:36 (Amplified Bible)

Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?

Luke 10:36 (King James Version)

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

A. Which of these three: priest, Levite or a Samaritan

"Which now of these three, thinkest thou,"

Matthew 22:42 (Amplified Bible)

Saying, What do you think of the Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, The Son of David.

Matthew 21:28-31 (Amplified Bible)

What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He came to the first and said, Son, go and work today in the vineyard.

And he answered, I will not; but afterward he changed his mind and went.

Then the man came to the second and said the same [thing]. And he replied, I will [go], sir; but he did not go.

Which of the two did the will of the father? They replied, The first one. Jesus said to them, Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the harlots will get into the kingdom of heaven before you.

Matthew 17:25 (Amplified Bible)

He answered, Yes. And when he came home, Jesus spoke to him [about it] first, saying, What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly rulers collect duties or tribute—from their own sons or from others not of their own family?

Luke 7:42 (Amplified Bible)

When they had no means of paying, he freely forgave them both. Now which of them will love him more?

The answer is the One who acted out his faith. The One who acted out His Mercy and Compassion and we know JESUS CHRIST who dwells within us is the Good Samaritan.

James 2:17 (Amplified Bible)

So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).

B. Is a neighbor that fell among the thieves.

"was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?"

Luke 10:29 (Amplified Bible)

And he, determined to acquit himself of reproach, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

Your neighbor is someone who will attend to your needs. Neighbor is a fellow countrymen. But in this parable, the neighbor represents a stranger that will help you when you need it the most.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are the Good Samaritan within me that accomplishes Your good works through and in me.
