Whole Armour Of God

1) Loins girt with truth

a) girt-girdle-belt

b) Latch to hold sword, worn when going to

battle

2) Breastplate of Righteousness

a) Breastplate- covered the neck to below waist

b) righteousness- acting in a just upright manner

c) Protects heart- people telling lies

3) Feet shod with gospel of peace

a) shoes

b) having peace not gossip

c) Rom 10:15 ...How beautiful are the feet of them

that preach the gospel of peace.

d) Is 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are

the feet of him that bringth good tidings,

that publisheth peace, that bringeth good

tingings of good.....

4) Helmet of Salvation

a) deflects blows from any direction

b) protects the mind- this is where satan starts

his work.

c) you must know you are saved

5) Sword of the Spirit

a) "WORD OF GOD"

b) sword is greatly respected

c) comes in all shapes and sizes

d) Must know how to use or it is on no value to

you.
