Summary: We are to praise God always because there are many reasons through Jesus Christ!

Good day! It is good that you are worshiping God, for God is our Creator, Provider, Sustainer, Savior, Redeemer, Promise Keeper, and always giving us love! Let us always remember that God is always deserving of our worship, not only on Sundays but everyday of our lives. God is good, All the time…. All the time, God is good! Worship Him!

Let us start with a prayer….

Let us worship our Loving God with a couple of songs….

I could sing of your love forever

Trading my sorrows…

In His Name….

Let us continue to worship our God by listening and learning from His Word in the Frist Letter of Apostle Peter to all Christians… Please grab your bibles and turn to 1 Peter…

When Peter wrote this letter, most Christians were having all sorts of trials. Do we today go through trials? What God states to Christians 2000 years ago is applicable to us Christians today! God’s Word is inerrant, eternal, food for our spirits, and life changing! Read along with me 1 Peter 1:3-9….

We are to always praise God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! How are you and I doing with that as we go thru trials today?

Why does God deserve our praise, no matter what is going on in our world?

Here are the truths for Believers of Christ:

#1 – God gave everyone Jesus Christ, God who became man to pay for all our sins against God and against each other! God gave us a gift of redemption back to our Holy Creator God!

#2 -God gave us a new birth, we are new beings in God’s sight; to be Children of God instead of being enemies of God!

Why does God deserve our praise?

#3 – God gave us an inheritance in eternal heaven, where there will no more pain, no more diseases, no more tears! Christians have a guaranteed inheritance which will be very very soon realized even while we are still dealing with the troubles in this world today!

#4 – God’s Almighty Power protects all of His gifts to us. Almighty Loving God is always at work in our daily lives!

#5 - God gave us a Living Hope because Jesus rose from the dead! Hope here means being 100% sure. Do you and I 100% believe that we will also rise from death because of who Jesus Christ is?

If we are 100% sure of heaven for us, this is the living hope we have! Do we know anyone looking for hope during these troubling times? Christians are carrying the living hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ; Let us share it to those who have no hope! But let us not be arrogant! Wait for the Holy Spirit to guide you! Speak the truth in love; in other words, before we speak, are we really thinking of the betterment of the other person, or are we just saying we are better than them? We have the Living Hope as Christians but share it in a loving way!

God deserves our praise and worship. God is good…. All the time! All the time… God is good! Is God still good in spite of a corona virus? We must know God’s gifts for us who believe in Jesus Christ! God’s gifts are only realized through Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ is the gift! Focus on Jesus Christ and rejoice in your godly gifts through Him!

Look again with me 1 Peter 1 v8-9….

Do we love God? Do we love God everyday in spite of trials and troubles?

If we do not love God, then we do not have the right faith! Faith is defined in Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

True faith is complete trust and belief in Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ is God who became man, suffered and died to pay for people’s sins, was buried but on the third day rose from the dead, appeared to many in His resurrected body, ascended back to heaven, but will return to earth soon to judge the living and the dead! This is the Gospel, the Good News, which we must have total faith on! And so the question is always, “How confident are we with Jesus Christ on a daily basis?” “How confident are we with Jesus Christ on a daily basis?”

If our confidence in Jesus Christ goes up and down, our love for God will go up and down, and our inner joy will also go up and down. Repeat

And so, let us have confidence on Jesus Christ day by day!

Let me end with this passage in 1 Peter 4:7-11… turn there and read along with me…

Let us commit to reading this passage over and over again during the week and do what it says!
