To show the wicked's death not desirable.
IV. TEXT:
When the wicked die, their hopes die with them, for they rely on their own feeble strength.
Pray: Oh, GOD, that we will not die as wicked, but GOD will convict our hearts thru the Holy Spirit to become godly.

VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Highlights:
1. When the wicked dies:
a. Their ways are frustrated by GOD (Psalms 146:9)
The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
b. Their own wickedness brings them down (Proverbs 11:5)
The godly are directed by honesty; the wicked fall beneath their load of sin.
c. Their kindest acts are cruel (Proverbs 12:10)
The godly care for their animals, but the wicked are always cruel.
d. They will not inherit the Kingdom of GOD (1 Corinthians 6:9)
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
2. All of their hopes will perish:
a. Where do we put our hopes?
= GOD (Psalms 42:5)
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and

May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.
= in GOD's unfailing love (Psalms 147:11)
No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.
3. Relying on feeble strength:
a. The strong can be shamed by the weak (1 Corinthians 1:27)
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
b. All our strengths are weaknesses
c. His Power is made perfect in our weaknesses (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Trust in GOD's strength not in our own feeble strength. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
