Summary: We are here this morning, and we may all have different problems, different circumstances, different issues…We All Need Jesus!!

Mark 5:21-Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea.

22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet

23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live."

24 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.

25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,

26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.

27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.

28 For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well."

29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?"

31 But His disciples said to Him, "You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, Who touched Me?' "

32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.

33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.

34 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

When we read about the woman, she is different than the possessed man, different than the 12 year old girl, different in their descriptions of their situations, but they all had some things in common….They Had A Problem They Could Not Solve For Themselves!

They Had A Problem No One Could Help Them With, Even Though I’m Sure Many Tried!

We are here this morning, and we may all have different problems, different circumstances, different issues, maybe it’s not us but it’s our love ones, but the truth is just like the people we read about we have this one thing in common…We All Need Jesus!!

Verse 24- Thronged-Crowed, Packed, Jammed, Pressed

Now she had to press thru the crowd, it took some effort, it took some dedication!

She was determined, she was going to let anything or anybody stop her from getting to Jesus!

What about you? What is going to stop you from bringing your problem, your burdens to Jesus?

I don’t feel good (Blood loss will make you weak)…Come On To Jesus Anyway!

Somebody offended me or hurt me… Come On To Jesus Anyway!

You can be distracted by a lot things (I’m sure she could have thought of lots of excuses not to come to Jesus that day) but I’m trying to encourage you not let anything or anyone get between you and Jesus!

Why did she come to Jesus that day?

Because she might have been desperate, she may have run out of options, she had tried everything else.

Sometimes we never look up, till we are knocked to our knees!

Would there be someone today, who would come to Jesus!

You may have tried drugs, or tried alcohol, you’ve tried riches, and you’ve tried material things, you’ve tried relationships.

You’ve tried everything the world has told you that would make you happy, but you’re still miserable!

Christian, would you come to Jesus? (Savior and Lord)

You’ve tried to quit cussing, maybe you tried to quit losing your temper, or you have tried to have a better attitude, or tried to be a forgiving person, you have tried but you have failed, let Jesus help you!

Bring your concerns, your burdens, and your failings to Jesus!!

I’m begging you, please keep trying, Jesus has not given up on you!!

Aren’t you glad someone didn’t stop praying for you?

Aren’t you glad they didn’t pray just one prayer for you?

Aren’t you glad your spouse didn’t give up on you when you messed up?

Aren’t you glad that your parent’s didn’t give up on you?

Aren’t you glad you didn’t give up on your kids?

32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.

33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.

Ever Asked? Who Did This? Even Though You Know, Your Child Was The Only One In

Room.

He asked the question not to embarrass her but to help her.
