Family: I have two awesome sons and I am overwhelmingly grateful to God for each of them!
Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach from the heart. A sermon that is not born from the preacher’s soul is nothing more than a speech.
Communicate like Jesus did... genuinely, passionately, and with authority. People want to be led to God and we do this most effectively when we preach with the conviction that the Holy Spirit has given us something to say.

Something funny that happened while preaching: Discovered my zipper was unzipped.
Forgot to put my sermon on the pulpit before the service.
Realized I had typed the wrong passage numbers I was supposed to use in that morning’s sermon, yikes!
