Comment to those looking at my sermons: Remember, I’m a pilgrim. My passion, my honesty, my study are all part of a journey. I hope that what you read will inspire you on your own journey with the Lord.

Sermon or series that made a difference: God’s Love Turns Us Inside Out - A series we did that began with Intimacy with God and then redefined our core values as leaders and as a church.

Family: Kyle and his wife Cathy have been married since 1994. They have been blessed with two beautiful children and love both dearly!

What my parents think of my sermons: Actually, I think they are both proud. They’ve told me so. I think they’re a little surprised by what God can do.

What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Do you want to claim to read your spouse’s mind?

Best advice given to me about preaching: The message you share must come from who you are and what God is doing within you. Don’t let it be clouded by anyone or anything else.

Books that have had an impact: The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Williard, Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning, AquaChurch by Leonard Sweet, Anything by Max Lucado, Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster, The Unnecessary Pastor by Marva Dawn and Eugene Peterson, Anything by John Ortburg; Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels

Hobbies: I love golf, almost anything related to Star Trek and finding creative ways to remind my wife that I love her.

If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Love God, Love People.

What I want on my tombstone: Here endeth the lesson.
