One of my favorite illustrations: When two boys attacked one of my sons, and I was well known in the small town. How I wanted to lay hands on them but restrained.

Something funny that happened while preaching: A little boy came to the altar while I was preaching to roll his toy car down the altar. I had to call on his grandmother to come get him.
