STAND YOUR GROUND.

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Ephesians 6:10-20  (NLT)

14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:14-17 (NLT)

Those words are great but wonders what examples the Apostle Paul would use today. Maybe one of these examples? Hmm, well it’s possible.

A woman enters the grocery store with his home made mask and her gloves on and a light coat to cover her upper body. Taking a buggy and wrapping it down completely before she move into the store to shop.

A man on a bus with a hoodie pulled up over his head and glasses on with his mask that covers just about his entire face. He has black rubber gloves on his hands to match the lining of his hoodie. He stands and doesn't set because he doesn't want to expose himself to any more germs if at all possible possible.

We’ve all heard not too many weeks ago not to wear a mask that it didn't do any good. Now they are recommending for us to volunteer to wear a mask and gloves. Well, last night I heard the Mask was good but gloves didn't do much good to protect us.

We started off with predictions of possible 2.5 million people in the States would die and now as of last night news I heard the model is now saying about 60k. I’m hearing that a state without looking at their budget to see where to cut back wants the federal government to send them couple billion to help them out.

Where will this all end?

The Apostle Peter gives us a bit of insight.

8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:8 (NLT)

He says the devil is like a roaring lion. Jesus has pulled the lions fangs, teeth and his claws when he died for our salvation on that old rugged cross. But he can still look very dangerous. If we are all armored up like Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians (above) we can take him on and win. We can stand at the gates of hell and not back down because we know who is standing right beside us. His name is Jesus!
