Summary: Those big interruptions that come into people lives.

.

John 16:33-“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Those big interruptions that come into people lives.

Those shattering kind of things-the death of a loved one, a sickness, a divorce (children lives interrupted).

Some of you may have had some of these major interruptions in your life. Jesus never came to save us out of trouble, He came to be with us in trouble!

Jesus promised we would have troubles, some troubles we wouldn't have if we weren't following Jesus,.

Look at the life of Jesus-Pressures, misunderstandings, betrayals, denials, and pain.

You just don't jump from Egypt to the promiseland, there is a wilderness inbetween.

We have two response's to trouble.

1-We can deal with them negatively and the result will be resentment and bitterness.

Angry at God!

The punishment for leaving God-Is leaving God!

It's not something He does to us, it's something we do to ourselves!

Self-infected torture!

WHAT TO DO IN PROBLEMS

We have to remember that the same heat that melts the butter can harden the egg!

It all depends on our response to our troubles.

Troubles can make you bitter our better!

2-A postive response in times of troubles is rely upon the substaining grace of God!

2 Cor. 12:9-And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Chickens hunker down but eagles fly higher.

Isaiah 40:31-But those who wait on the LORD

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

Look at the interruptions in Jesus life.

Mark 2:1-12-The paralyzed man, tore the roof off.

Mark 5;25-34-The woman who bleed for twelve years-touched His garment

Mark 5:22-And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet

23-and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”

35-While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”

36-As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Mark 10:46-Blind Bartimaeus-He began to shout , "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me."

Some great things come out of interruptions and what happens to Him can happen to us!

Prize chickens- Great rains came flooded the chicken coop, put them in a basement, water heater busted flooded basement-Get ducks-Don't give up!

A oyster-sand gets in it. It puts on a milky substance that hardens.

A pearl is nothing but beauty wrapped around trouble.

Someday when we enter heaven, there are twelve gates, four on each side and on each gate is a single pearl.

You and I are going to enter through doors of trouble who have been surrounded by love an the grace of God.

You and I will come thru those doors because God has brought you through troubles and pain.

Jesus is the great pearl of great price!
