Psalms 35:27

Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You take pleasure in my prosperity as Your servant.

A. Authors: Authorship of many is uncertain, generally attributed to King David.

B. Date written: c. 1440 to 450 B.C. ( From Moses to Ezra)

C. Purpose: 150 songs to praise and worship GOD

D. To whom written: Sometimes to GOD, sometimes to author

E. Main Themes: praise and worship, prayer and praise

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Rejoice in the uprightness of believers

"Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually,"

1 Corinthians 12:26

And if one member suffers, all the parts [share] the suffering; if one member is honored, all the members [share in] the enjoyment of it.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others’ grief].

John 16:22

So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).

B. The LORD takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant

"Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

Psalms 149:4

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory.

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

Jeremiah 32:40-41

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will not turn away from following them to do them good, and I will put My [reverential] fear in their hearts, so that they will not depart from Me.

Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly and in truth with My whole heart and with My whole being.

It is GOD's will for me to prosper so every time I prosper and is successful and gets blessed it is GOD's desire to do it for me for He's also the Source of everything in this life.

John 3:27

John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.]

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse].
