The More Excellant Name

Summary: There is power int he wonderful name of Jesus for salvation, healing , deliverance, and answered prayer. The right use of Jesu’ Name will produce miracles in the life of a believer.
The More Excellant Name
1) the Saving Name
- John 1:12; Acts 4:12; Acts 8:37; Acts 11:43; Acts 16:31-34
2) the Healing Name
- Mark 16:18; Acts 3:1-9; 8:4-8; 4:7-10; 9:32-35; Ja. 5:14-16
3) the Delivering Name
- Mark 16:17; Acts 16:16-18; Phil 2:9-11
4) the Royal Name
answered prayer - the Name of Jesus gives you instant access to the throne of God in prayer - John 15:16; John 16:23-24; Eph. 3:14-15
Thank God, there is power in the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ to get a person Saved, Healed and Delivered. There is Power in the Name of Jesus to usher the Christian believer into the very presence of God. Just the mention of His Name (Jesus) gets God’s attention. Hebrews 4:16 - We come boldly to the throneroom of Grace with the Name of Jesus and obtain Mercy and find Grace to help in time of need.
The Devil has hoodwinked people into believing a lie, that the "day of miracles has passed away." There is no such thing in the Bible as the "day of miracles." There is a God of miracles, and He is the unchanging God. He is everyday the same. He has lost none of His power. He is still the Merciful and Compassionate Savior. Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank God His Name had power in the days of the beginning of the church, and His Name has power today!!! In the Book of Acts, when believers spoke that Name in Faith, miracles happened. When believers speak that Name in faith today, miracles happen!!!
There is Power in the Name of Jesus!!!!
