Summary: To manifest all these wonderful attributes, results, gifts and astonishing treasure that our maker has deposited in us will require the maker’s standard power to do that. That standard power is the Holy Spirit
Summary: Last week I mentioned that we’re not all God’s children; we’re all his creation but in order to become a child of God you need to be born-again. Today I’m going to expound on that and highlight some things that identify us as a COG-Child Of God.
Summary: The Apostle Paul said if you take all of the suffering you’ve ever endured in this life, it is like a drop in the bucket compared to a vast, deep ocean of glory that’s going to come. Paul gave us three examples of why we ought to have hope.
Summary: The Woman asked the silver smith, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy when I see my image in it." This day, I want to speak of the Refiners Fire.
Summary: God the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, because He prays for us according to the Father’s will. We will see from the Scriptures that although we often come up short in our best efforts, with God’s help we can get through anything we face in life.
Summary: Paul tells us why we must not let our present suffering get us down. 1- We recognize that suffering is a part of this world
2- We relish our hope of something better
3- We receive help for our weaknesses
