What is a parable? Jesus connected with the every day life of people through His parables. In this clip, from Drive Thru History with Dave Stotts "The Gospels,' we learn that parables were "comparisons to make a point." Some parables were purposely vague and Jesus explains why he taught in parables and we hear some of Jesus' most cherished parables-the Prodigal Son and the Good Samaritan.
