Year End Inventory
Contributed on Apr 26, 2024
Jesus tells us that when we seek first the Kingdom of God, the other things we are concerned about will take care of themselves. Paul doesn't want us to merely call ourselves Christians or think of ourselves as Christians. He wants to know Christ and wants us to be real followers of Jesus too.
Opening illustration: Business owners are busy at the end of the year taking inventory. This is a painful but necessary reality so they can know if they made a profit or not. They take the information they receive and make adjustments for the coming year. As Christians, we need to stop at the end ...read more

Restoring Worship
Contributed on Apr 26, 2024
Nehemiah was broken hearted over the condition of his people. Do you know something is sadly missing in our churches today? Weeping! How long has it been since you saw wet eyes in church? Tears at the altar?
Opening illustration: I was never ever overwhelmed with worship at any church in our nation as much as my spirit was moved by the worship at the rickety broken ‘Church of Noah’s Ark’ at Monterrey, Mexico. Even though I did not understand the language, but the power of the Holy Spirit was so ...read more

Walking In The Anointing
Contributed on Apr 26, 2024

Opening illustration: At a remote underground church in the Middle East, our meeting started with exuberant worship. Many raised their hands, fell on their knees and faces, and sang joyously to the Lord. We witnessed many women crying out and weeping to God. After the sermon, as I stood behind the ...read more

Spirit Filled Church
Contributed on Apr 25, 2024
Not only, we have to get ready for the harvest of souls but also get ourselves ready to set our lives right and holy before God. It is not what we do but through what God does in and through our lives. Are you ready for it?
Opening illustration: During our ministry in the Middle-East at one of the underground churches, a gentleman used to walk around 5 miles to attend that worship and fellowship. He had a lowly job at a remote construction site in the wilderness and could not afford to buy a conveyance for himself. He ...read more

In March 2009, a 62-year old woman was charged with stealing more than $73,000 from her church in the state of Washington. When the detectives interrogated her, she told them: “Satan had a big part in the theft.” It sounds like she was saying that the devil made her do it. Satan may have played ...read more
