Temptation on its own is not the same as sin. Sometimes being tempted makes us feel dirty, but temptation is not sin. Jesus was severely tempted, but that does not mean he was contaminated with the sin.

When we were saved, we became spiritually identified with Christ in His death, His burial and His resurrection. It was then that we died to our old life of sin, and we were spiritually resurrected to the new life we now have in Christ.

There is much preaching done today in the power of the emotions, or in the power of the intellect. This is false preaching, and false religion.

Husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. We ought to love our wives as part of ourselves. Every time you hurt your wife, you hurt yourself.
