About Dennis
  • Education: Graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Graduated with a Masters of Arts in Theology from Talbot School of Theology Received a Masters of Divinity equivalency degree from Fuller Theological Seminary
  • Experience: After graduation from Talbot in 1995 Dennis took over as senior pastor of Hallelujah Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church in Las Vegas, Nevada. After 10 years he moved to Mesquite, Nevada, where he is presently the senior pastor of Living Waters Fellowship, a Foursquare church. Dennis is a prolific writer, writing articles for both local newspapers. He has also finished his first book, "From Here to There: A Journey to Spiritual Transformation," and has two more being worked on.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: My sermons are written out in manuscript form It's from my sermons that chapters of my books form and develop. Everyone is welcome to use everything without needing to give credit. Freely I have received, therefore freely I give. It's a blessing to help others the way I have been helped.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Heaven is the place where a believer's heart longs to be. Our healing will never come at the expense of someone else's pain.
  • Family: Married to Michaela Lee, ordained pastor with Foursquare. We have four children and six grandchildren.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Spirit driven and feeds the spirit well. But she walked away while saying it, so at this point not entirely sure.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Be biblical, preach from God's word, and be yourself, not somebody else.
  • Books that have had an impact: Authors: Alan Redpath, Henry Blackaby, John Piper, Jack Hayford, John Stott, Jim Cymbal, plus many more.
  • Hobbies: Loves to snow ski and read.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I always want the people to know that God loves them just the way they are, but at the same He doesn't want them to remain in their compromises and sin. That church isn't about being in a religion; rather it's about having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: To many mistakes to name, from wrong words to having my zipper open, and being told by a very caring parishioner, who would willing and loving me let me know either or both.
  • What I want on my tombstone: After he served this generation for the Lord, he fell asleep.
