The reason we shout for joy, the reason we worship Him with gladness, the reason we enter His Presence with thanksgiving, the reason we give thanks to Him and praise His name is that "the Lord is good and His steadfast love endures forever. His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

we tend to focus too much on the meek and mild Jesus and not enough on the glorified Christ with His sword on His side, marching on boldly because of truth and righteousness … mighty to save.

Our days are like pearls strung together on a thread. One event triggers another but we can’t foresee what’s to come. Not so for God. God dwells in eternity. He exists in the past and in the present and in the future … all at the same moment.

Learning more about God is the greatest intellectual pursuit of the human mind. The subject of God is transcendent … as vast as infinity. But studying God, to me, is the most satisfying, uplifting, edifying, expanding, and glorious task we could ever undertake.
