Many of you know that I love Superman and Superheroes. When I was a small boy, I pretended that I had super powers and named myself “Soap Man”.

I would take my evening bath and lather all up with soap but would not rinse it off. The soap would dry on my skin and I would get dressed. Not too comfortable but it was a small sacrifice too make for super powers. It then became my secret super power.

All I needed to activate my incredible power was just a little water. The water would touch my skin and just like magic I was able to produce soap suds that I would throw at my arch enemy, “My brother.”

Water for Soap Man is like the Holy Spirit in our lives. Without the Holy Spirit we can not do the things God wants of us and asks of us. Soap Man was replenished by the water.

What do you need to do to find renewal and refreshment in your life?
