Swindoll says, “As a pastor, I’ve seldom had a wiser audience than in a funeral service. They really listen. Sure it’s frightening, but it’s amazing how much perspective is gained when we get a glimpse of life from the back door” (Living on the ragged Edge, pg. 194).
