There are preachers, yet the world is looking for preachers. The word of God is shaper than any known tool made by man, but in this our day and time the sharpness seem to be of no effect. The same word peter preached; the same word Philip preached; the same word Paul preached; the same word saints of old preached. The missing link is the quality of life a preacher lives. Preaching is living out the Christ transformed and Christ centered life. I don't care the title and office of the preacher, if there is not proof of Christ seal, he wastes away but the word remains undefiled.

To often preaching has a goal dreamed up in the mind of the preacher themselves. Fortunately, the Lord is able to take a sermon meant to rally dogs and use it to redeem cats. Thankfully there is often a greater anointing in the ears of the seeking hearer than in the mouth of the preacher.
