The other day while waiting in a room with some other people I heard something very similar. A mother with three children was there. She had an infant, a 2-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl. She was taking care of them the best she could. But I could see it was a bad day and that she was getting frustrated. We were trying to talk but it was hard. Then her 2 year old kicked a can of coke over in the floor. She looked at me. I jumped up and out of this huge bag she pulled out a diaper and handed it to me. I used it to clean the spilled coke up. I think I actually felt her embarrassment and aggregation. She looked at me with a small smile and said: one of these days I’m going to have a Real Life.
