Price Saving Beats Time Saving by 3-to-1 for women shoppers finds ShopSmart Opinion Poll. 76% of American women enjoy shopping, but 33% say the most stressful part is waiting in check out lines, followed by 29% stressed by interacting with salespeople. The average woman spends 385 hours annually shopping. 87% of female shoppers claim getting the best price is the most important thing while 25% would rather save time than money. 45% of shoppers rely on friends and family as trusted sources for shopping and products to avoid buyer’s remorse, while the least trusted sources of shopping advice are sales people (39%), and advertising (31%).
