Millionaires The number of millionaires worldwide has nearly doubled since ‘96. It grew to 8.7 million in ’05. North America has 2.9 million millionaires, Europe 2.8 million, Asia 2.4 million, Latin America 300,000, and Africa 100,000. (PWB 6/23/06)
