After a woman gives birth, when she is holding her baby, her core body temperature will raise by as much as 2 degrees in order to help keep the baby warm. Research has shown that even tiny premature babies can be kept warm with skin to skin contact with their mother and you don’t have to worry about the length of time they are out of the incubator as long as they are with their mother because her body will regulate her temperature to keep the baby warm. This is the only time in a woman's life when her core body temp will increase that much and that quickly. One of those amazing human design features by our Creator!
