God does not grudgingly exalt His people, nor does he do so mechanically. God is extremely delighted to exalt His people — at the right time. [in spite of all the negative baggage we associate with Israel’s past]

Differing situations highlight different characteristics of God; we need all. God is not the kind of God many people think He is. Seeing Him in action proves the point.

One of the hardest struggles we as believers face is the illusion that God is silent and passive, even though it seems like this is the case so very often. But he works on what we might call “Yahweh Time.”

God is looking backward from the future eternal state and taking us on a journey through time to demonstrate how He will achieve His goal.
