Each person in the home ought to be a Channel of Blessing to one another. God tells the husband to love his wife- a blessing. The wives are told to submit to her husband- a blessing. Children are told to honor their parents- a blessing. Parents are not to exasperate their children- a blessing.

4. Bless Like You Never Been Hurt

What is our natural response when someone hurts us? I can think of two. The first is to get back at the person in some way for what they have done to us. The second natural response is to say that I will have nothing more to do with them. God's response is that I am to bless them.

The biggest hinderance as to why Christian men and women don't bless the Lord like we ought to is that we are quick to forget what God has done for us in the past. And our focus is centered on what God needs to do for us now.
