God's People should be :-

(a) A Happy People (Rejoicing with the Ark) God's Presence

(b) A Holy People Selfward, Manward, Godward.

(c) A Heavenly People

1. David's Worship - 15:1, LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? A Pilgrim Worshipper v.1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? (tent - temporary Abram) Who shall be a guest in thy tent? A Permanent Worshipper 1 who shall dwell in thy holy hill? (hill - Permanent) David's Desire was to build a Tabernacle Hebrews 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. A Perfect Worshipper who shall abide ie. 2. David's Walk - 15:2 He that walketh uprightly, (a) His Works v. 2 walketh uprightly (as a perfect sin offering without blemish) (b) His Words - 15:2 and speaketh the truth in his heart. His Secret Words v.2 speaketh the truth in his heart His Spoken Words v. 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. He Is Restrained 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue (No Gossiper) He Is Righteous nor doeth evil to his neighbour (No Troublemaker) evil (One who breaks up what is good and desirable) He Is Respectful 4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned;but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. 3. David's Ways - 15:5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
