A LETTER OF CONCERN- BE FREE
Introduction:
I began this series in March 2020. This is when all of the COVID shutdowns were happening; and things that we never thought would happen, happened. We began not meeting together for many weeks. My 1st thought was, “We are losing our freedoms”. What does it mean to be free? I know of Christians who are imprisoned in other countries for being a Christian; but they are free.

1. It’s not about you.
The Corinthians were saying, “I can do whatever I want to”. Paul acknowledged that was true; but that didn’t make it beneficial. Christians should do things that are constructive, not for themselves; but for others. It is not about you; but about others.

2. Your limits.
We are told that if you are invited to eat at an unbeliever’s house, then eat whatever they serve you; unless, they tell you that it was meat offered to idols. Then you are not to eat it because it would be saying that offering meat to idols is ok. You spending time with lost people is fine; but do not participate in sin with them. You must understand your limits. Do not hurt your Christian witness.

3. To do everything for God’s glory.
Every decision you make should be about making God look good, not yourself. Ask yourself, “Does this action glorify or embarrass God?” If it is not for God’s glory, don’t do it.

4. It’s about people being saved.
When it is all said and done, what you do should be about people being saved. Christians are not to do anything that would cause anybody to stumble.
Conclusion:
If you want to be free, serve God by serving others.
