A Passion Meditation

Summary: This objective of this outline is to awaken our awareness of God’s great love for us, while we were yet sinners.
Introduction: The Passover season is a time to revitalize within our spirits the immense pain suffered by Christ on our behalf. At Calvary every man is humbled and God is truly glorified. Let us approach this passion season with deep gratitude and reverence for our Saviour. May our minds be filled with comptemplative spirits and joyful hearts for so great a salvation. To that end, the Holy Spirit planted in my spirit the following thoughts for meditation:
1. The Awfulness of MY SIN.
2. The Awesomeness of MY SAVIOUR.
3. The Appraisal of MY SOUL.
4. The Acquittal of MY SENTENCE.
5. The Assestment of MY LIFE.
6. The Assurance of MY SALVATION.
7. The Acclamation of MY LIBERTY.
Let us think on these things and give God the unhindered praise for His unmerited goodness toward us.
