Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1. Taco Bell had no hard taco shells to make their promotional Cheesy Gordita Crunch for two Sundays in a row. That really upset me as I was craving a taco.

2. If you go into a Taco Bell, you expect to receive tacos.

3. When you go into a Pentecostal church you expect to receive a Pentecostal experience.

Philippians 1:19

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

1. You expect to find prayer and a supply of the Holy Ghost.

2. This should be a place of prayer and of praise.

Mark 11:15-16

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

1. I don’t want Jesus angry when he comes into this church. This is to be a holy place – not mockery.

Mark 11:17

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

1. Notice Jesus said, “be called of all nations” - his temple was to have a certain reputation – that as the “House of Prayer.”

2. I get upset when I see apostolic churches turn their churches into a carnival atmosphere to raise money. What does it look like to Jesus?

3. You should expect to find a place of holy respect.

Philippians 1:19

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

1. When you go into a Pentecostal Church you should expect to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost.

2. There should be a great supply to meet everyone’s needs.

Psalm 22:3

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

1. God inhabits our praises.

2. If we want an ample supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ – we need to be praising the Lord.

Psalm 134:1

Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

1. When we praise the Lord – it is good to lift up our hands.

2. It shows God that we are surrendering to him.

Psalm 51:150

Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.

1. Notice when we praise the Lord – we have to open our lips – open our mouth.

2. Don’t just say “I’ll praise God in my heart” - Jesus wants you to open up your mouth and proclaim his glory.

Psalm 98:4

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

1. Make a what noise? - a LOUD noise.

2. When we start rejoicing, singing and praising – it can get loud. God wants us to worship with excitement.

Psalm 47:1

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

1. Clap your hands and shout to the Lord.

2. People clap to show appreciation – we need to be giving our God standing ovations.
