Are You A Good Soldier

ARE YOU A GOOD SOLDIER ?
I. HE MUST BE STRONG (v. 1)
A. Exercise regularly
B. Our military work hard to keep in shape physically
C. How much are you investing to shape up spiritually
II. HE MUST BE A FOLLOWER (v. 2)
A. There is always someone who ranks higher
B. All great leaders; first were great followers
C. Jesus commands people to follow Him
D. If one refuses; he will face consequences
III. HE MUST BE A FIGHTER (v. 3-5)
A. Endurance
B. Free from worldly bonds
C. Pleases Him who chose him
D. Play by the rules
IV. HE MUST HAVE FAITH (v. 6-8)
A. He must believe he can win (Jesus already won)
B. He must have his weapons (partaker of the fruits)
C. He must trust his leader (v.8)
D. ( 1 Cor. 15: 55-57)
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Conclusion: Are you in the Lord’s army ?
If you are, are you a GOOD soldier?
If your not, what are you waiting for ?
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON SOLDIER ?
Do you not see your comrades falling al around you ?
Can you not hear the satanic bombs exploding
It is the soldier, not the reporter, that gave us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."
It is the American soldier, who will fight for our civil liberty.
It is the Christian soldier, who will fight for the cause of Christ.
Were in the Lord’s army, a army to fight against the satanic forces of this world.
An army that is actively following our Heavenly leader !
An army that has been given the victory !
An army who will have an eternal rest !
An army who has an eternal reward !
ARE YOU IN THE LORD’S ARMY !
