Soul Insurance?

• One of the most important decisions a person or a family can make is the selection of a good life insurance policy.

• Life insurance is an essential part of any financial plan because it safeguards a family’s security in the event of the death of the person who provides the income by which that family is supported.

Life insurance is also important because it is one way by which the present generation can pass wealth on to the next generation.

Life offers no guarantees.

• You can always lose things that are valuable to you, and money may not be enough to get them back. That’s why all of us worry about loss—whether we have insurance or not.

You can buy insurance for almost anything, from your car to your health to your beard.

But there’s a problem with even the best insurance plans: they can only offer money if you lose something.

So, whether we have insurance or not, we’re all at least a little afraid of giving up the things we value most.

Do you have a spiritual insurance policy with God?

Do you know the policy details: terms, conditions, your obligations and rights?

God’s insurance

God our insurance broker and provider, is also the underwriter of our destiny.

The insurance policy He offers is immutable, perpetually unchanging..

Nothing is subject to change without prior notification.

Declarations of your spiritual insurance are straightforward, unambiguous, and understandable.

Unlike worldly insurance policies all exclusions, endorsements, and policy-riders are entirely in the Christian’s favour.

What God’s insurance policy says

Believe God and you will have life. John 3.16-18.

The final destination for our soul, whether it is heaven or hell, is determined by our choice.

Yes, we get to determine where our soul would live in eternity.

We have complete freedom to decide.

What a great privilege we have to decide our eternity.

While we have the habit of insuring everything on earth, don’t we need insurance to make sure our souls end up in heaven and not in hell?

Bible says, What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Why the Bible puts such high importance to Soul.

? Because the eternal life of our soul is much longer than the finite lifetime on earth.

? We might win everything and achieve our heart's desire on earth during our finite time on earth, but if we miss the bus to heaven, then our soul’s eternal life needs to be spent in hell, which is the only alternative choice.

? Hence, we must decide our eternity by insuring our soul.

God offers a full and guaranteed solution to the eternal life of your soul.

? Bible says, Who ever believe in Him (Jesus) will have eternal life.

? The only criterion to go to heaven is believing in Christ.

? You don’t have to pay anything.

? All you have to do is to put your belief or trust in God

The temporary problems on earth are less important compared to permanent happiness in heaven.

? Bible says, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

? What a glorious life God has prepared for you and me in heaven can’t be imagined with our human finite mind

God's Comprehensive Insurance Policy

? Mentioned in Psalms 91

Psalm 91 is a psalm of confidence that reminds us that God protects and preserves those who are His. Life will bring trouble and we will face danger, but as the people of God we can live above fear and trust that He will never let us fall

A Declaration of God’s Care for His People (91:3-4)

• The presence of danger (vs. 3) While this is a psalm about God’s protection and care the psalmist refers often to the dangers that are present. He speaks through images and pictures, here describing being caught in a hunter’s trap and then suffering from a deadly disease.

• A God who draws near and fights our battles (vs. 4) The vivid imagery continues as the psalmist describes God’s intimate care (a mother bird) and His faithful protection (His shield and armor).
