Summary: What does being a Doer, look like?
Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only
WHAT DOES BEING A DOER OF THE WORD LOOK LIKE?
A. Doer of the Word maintains control over their life (v.26)
1. Especially the tongue
2. Keep body in subjection
3. Mind
B. A Doer of the Word sincerely loves God and loves people. (v.27)
1. Helps others - benevolence
2. Shows the love of God – as God loves us
C. A Doer of the Word practices holiness and integrity. (v.27)
1. Holiness in our relationship with God
2. Holiness in our relationship towards sin
