BEAUTY IN SALVATION

INTRODUCTION: THE BOOK OF PSALMS OR PSALTER COMES FROM THE SEPTUAGINT, THE GREEK TRANSLATION OF THE OLD TESTAMENT. WRITTEN BY SEVERAL AUTHORS, THE BOOK FOR THE MOST PART ADDRESSES PRAYER AND PRAISE.

SPIRITUAL INSIGHT:

PSALMS 149:4 (NKJV) FOR THE LORD TAKES PLEASURE IN HIS PEOPLE, HE WILL BEAUTIFY THE HUMBLE WITH SALVATION.

THIS PSALM CERTAINLY ALLUDES TO THE NATION ISRAEL; HOWEVER, IT APPLIES TO GENTILES ALSO.

THIS TRANSFORMATION, BEAUTIFICATION, STARTS WITH SALVATION. ONCE SAVED, YOU HAVE BEEN HUMBLED UNDER A SENSE OF SIN AND BROUGHT INTO RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH CHRIST. YOU DEPENDED ON THE GRACE OF GOD FOR SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST. EPHESIANS 2:8 (NKJV) FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH, AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES, (IT IS) THE GIFT OF GOD.

HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS TO KNOW YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY TO FUNCTION IN THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT, RECORDED IN GALATIANS 5: 22-23.

HOW BEAUTIFUL TO KNOW YOU WILL BE PART OF THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB, RECORDED IN REVELATION 19:7.

APPLICATION: REJOICE BELIEVER, AND BASK IN THE BEAUTY OF YOUR SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!
