our lives?

A. Let them make mistakes.

B. Let them work through their grief.

Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, “This child will be rejected by many in Israel, and it will be their undoing. But he will be the greatest joy to many others. 35Thus, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.”

Luke 2:34-35 (NLT)

C. Let them live on in our words.

For instance, God says, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘Anyone who speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.’Matt. 15:4 (NLT)

D. Let them know how they have touched our lives.

Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her:
