B. Narrow gate (v.14) (“few there be that find it”) (John 14:6)

III. TWO PROFESSIONS (21-23)
A. Those who know the Lord (The true repentant who seeks to do The Fathers will)
B. Those who use the Lord (professors but not possessors) (James 1:22–25)
IV. TWO FOUNDATIONS (24-27)
A. Rock (The Lord’s unchanging Word)
B. Sand (the world’s ever-changing opinion)
There are two different “ways” or gates, they are both labeled Heaven, but only one truly leads you there.
There are two different “trees” or prophets, but only the ones with the good fruit are of God.
There are two different “professions”, but only one possession.
There are two different “foundations”, but only one will stand.
The wise man built his house the Rock, and when the rain came he did not suffer lose.
This house is man’s religious life, and the rain is God’s judgment.
Will your house stand?
