CHRIST “THE WAY”

John 14:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Many people don’t understand that there is only one way , they look around trying to find how they can go to heaven .Its right in the word of God if they would only watch and pray and read what God has written in his word.

1. Christ himself is the way (His Person)

His life showed us that he is the only way .

His love for sinners lets us know he is Gods only son.

His mercy is enough for us to see he came to seek and to save.

His work is finished and completed on the cross.

2.He opened the way.

Hebrews 10 :12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

No more blocks between us and God

No more need for the blood of animals

No more need for earthly high priest

No more need for burned offering

Mans way failed God open the way through the work of his only son.

3. The door of salvation is now open to all

John 10:9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Christ is the only door

We just have to go through that door

Sinners great and small now have a free ride to glory

All lost now have a way

Note what Christ said “by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,”

Now the best is ours through the shed blood of Christ

4.He is the way of access

Eph.2:18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

A true gift of God

By the Holy Spirit

We now can go direct to the mercy seat of God.

No go between just straight to the throne

5. His way is the only way to the throne

Heb.10:20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

By the flesh of Christ we have glory

Through his flesh we have a new living way

Through his flesh we now can by washed white as snow

Our sins all put away by and through him

Some other way no

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Contrary to God

You would be like a thief

You would be like a robber

Only Gods way

“Mans own way”

Proverbs 14:12There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

You may think your way is ok

In reality it bring death

Mans way leads to death

God’s narrow way

Matt. 7:14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Only way to go is on Gods two lane highway

Numbers look but few will make it

The 4 lane means a faster life in the ways of sin

Which road are you on today

Check you life and your heart where are you

Its heaven are hell you choose
