Daniel – Key Of Time

Daniel was ahead of time and ahead of his time.

Daniel was ahead of time because he got a future understanding and knowledge about God and presented this to people in his own generation.

Daniel was ahead of his time means he had a better understanding and knowledge about God than people in his own generation did.

Daniel understood that God has the power and authority to change times and seasons (Daniel 2:21). God has authority and control over time. He can alter times or seasons. Daniel was the first to realize that God controls time, including times and seasons, and holds the key to time.

Daniel got this understanding or insight when God revealed Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to him. This is evident in his prayer. God also gave Daniel the key of time along with this insight. When it was necessary, Daniel opened or closed a season, dream or a time period with the key of time in accordance with God’s will. He used this key to unlock Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream (Daniel 2), comprehend Jeremiah’s prophecy of 70 years (return to promise land), and seal a vision of the end times (Daniel 8:26).

Daniel also understood that the interpretation of a dream that God had provided results in the changing of the times and seasons. In life, Daniel was promoted as a result of his interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. After Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, he got a promotion in life.

Moses and Joshua understood that God controls nature. They were given keys to nature. Moses with the key of nature used as per God’s will to unleash calamities, plagues, and to part the Red Sea. Joshua used the key of nature in God’s will to halt the sun and stop the Jordon river from flowing during flood time (Joshua 3:8)

Which aspect of God did you see or realize in your walk with God? Has God given you dreams, visions, or performed some miracles or healings? If so, recollect the insight you received from God in this miracle or healing or dream. This insight that God gives you will become a key in your life. Every miracle or healing or dream will meet your needs along with providing an insight about God.

Don’t neglect the insight about God. A certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years – the insight was – If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. The key in this situation is that we shall be healed if we touch Jesus’ robe (Mark 5:28). In our lives, how many times did we touch Jesus’s robe. Touching Jesus robe itself she was healed, imagine what would have happened when we touch Jesus? Mary was very privileged to hold, kiss and embrace Jesus.

“And the vision of the evenings and mornings

Which was told is true;

Therefore seal up the vision,

For it refers to many days in the future.” (Daniel 8:26).

Daniel with this key of time locked a future vision while living in the present generation.

Daniel was given this key of time by God to close or open a time period in accordance with God’s will. With this key he was able to open(see) and close the visions of the future.

The visions that Daniel saw were extremely complex and beyond comprehension. Daniel doesn’t know the time period of the vision. An angel appears and explains the vision along with the timeline.

An angel coming and explaining a vision means these visions cannot be explained by human interpretation. Divine assistance is required to understand divine intentions and visions. Divine visions cannot be interpreted by human reasoning.

Gabriel comes to explain the vision. An angel who stands before the presence of God (Luke 1:19) appears to explain the vision. The angel connected to birth of Jesus comes and explain the vision. The explanation of this vision may also have a revelation of Jesus. We need ask God to reveal about Jesus in this vision.

The impact of the vision (Daniel 8) made Daniel faint and lay sick for days.

Human intelligence or wisdom is incapable of understanding divine visions of the end times, and the human body is incapable of withstanding the intensity of divine visions.

Following the vision, Daniel was sick for few days. How stunning or incredible is the intensity of the vision. The vision carries the power and authority of God. The vision holds God’s secrets for end times.

Daniel saw vision of God’s secrets or plans for the end times. God’s plans or secrets for the end times were revealed to Daniel in a vision. Daniel with the key of time entered end time season and saw the secret plans of God for end times.

What a special favour! God reveals His secrets to a person.

God gives his key of time and reveals his secrets to Daniel. Daniel receives this key to time and learns God’s secrets. Today is your desire to get the key of time and enter the Millennium or end time to see Jesus in that time period? An understanding of Jesus in Millennium or end times -his works and plans can change our present generation.
