Do Not Fear (Sermon 1) Series

Summary: "Do not fear" is one of the most common commands in the Bible. Why? Because it's the greatest tool of the enemy to steal you from your identity and your authority.
I would like everyone to say this verse together...
Rom 8:14 - "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
S: I'M A CHILD OF GOD. /// S: I am spirit led GO TO 2 TIM 1
Vital confession for everyone during this time...
SOME DIED EARLY... SOME LOST MONEY... SOME HAVE MISSED THEIR PURPOSE - b/c although they have the authority - they have decided to be LED by ANOTHER Spirit.
GOD ISN'T THE ONLY SPIRIT OUT HERE:
2 Tim 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
H.S. GIVES POWER, LOVE & SOUND MIND.
SPIRIT OF FEAR IS
INSTEAD OF BEING POWERFUL - fear makes us weak closing our spiritual eyes.
INSTEAD OF BEING LOVING - fear makes us full of hate and selfishness by closing our spiritual ears.
INSTEAD OF HAVING A MIND LIKE GOD - fear makes us make poor decisions NOT based on the Word.
The enemy KNOWS that God has protected, provided, blessed you!

Satan’s job is to BE THE GREATEST PROMOTER OF FEAR EVER!
(Signs) “YOU’RE UNWORTHY” / “YOU’RE A TERRIBLE FATHER” // “EVERYONE IS AGAINST YOU” / “YOU CAN’T RECOVER FROM THIS”

WHEN YOU FREAK OUT UR NOT BEING SPIRIT LED:
S: Don’t BELIEVE THE HYPE!
“I know GOD CAME THROUGH LAST TIME”… but THIS TIME it’s worse / THIS TIME seem more stressful / THIS TIME LOUDER, LARGER, BRIGHTER, MORE SCREAMED AT YOU
B/C IF HE CAN GET YOU TO OPERATE IN FEAR -
HE CAN GET YOU OUT OF YOUR AUTHORITY!
THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD IS THE SPIRIT OF FEAR...
AND YOU WILL BE LED BY IT BY DEFAULT IF YOU LET IT...
v. 8 - “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;”
…I’m not ashamed of the testimony…
Testimony = the DECLARATION OF YOUR STORY!
My story is what Jesus has done and is doing in faith in my life
The enemy will get you to feel ashamed to speak faith when everything looks contrary.
So you speak circumstance you speak information…
DON’T BE ASHAMED TO DECLARE YOUR FAITH when it looks contrary.
I WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

I PROCLAIM AND PROMOTE THE PLOT TWIST!
UR UNWORTHY - sure. PLOT TWIST - Jesus died so I’m a new creation.
YOU’RE A TERRIBLE FATHER - plot twist/ I’m becoming like Christ!
EVERYONE’S AGAINST YOU - plot twist / I’ve got a faith family!
YOU CAN’T - Yep. You’re right PLOT TWIST! I CAN DO ALL THINGS…
PLOT TWIST - HE SAVED ME / P.T. - RAISED ME / PT - FILLED HG
P.T. NO WEAPON FORMED WILL PROSPER /
TITLE = A DECLARATION AND A covenant for spirit-led people:
3 SIMPLE LETTERS - for the spirit led believer...
DNF - DO NOT FEAR!
REPEAT IT: DO NOT FEAR
TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR: DO NOT FEAR
DNF is most mentioned command in Bible! // Why?
Because FEAR is the primary tactic of the enemy to use to get you out of your authority. FEAR promotes being led by information/crisis/flesh
The devil’s HYPE cannot did not cut you off from God.
He can never cut you off from God. He’s not that powerful!
He can tempt us TO GET INTO AGREEMENT and
OUT OF alignment w/ our Creator!
(Illustrated dislocated arm - is it dead? No. Does it have full mobility? No. Can it walk in it’s intended strength? No.)
AGREEING to FEAR causes us to be disjointed -
not functioning in our intended authority.
YOU CANNOT BE SPIRIT LED AND FEAR OCCUPIED AT THE SAME TIME!
WHAT I FEAR WILL INFLUENCE WHAT & HOW I WORSHIP -
(STORY… DAD DIED… I NEEDED TO BE IN WORSHIP…)
My worship is passionate b/c
I won’t allow my WORRY to have my passion…
I SING LOUD - I WORSHIP LOUD - BECAUSE I’M PURPOSING
TO NOT ALLOW MY FEAR TO CHANGE WHAT MY MOUTH WORSHIPS
ANY WORD OF FEAR= AGREEMENT w/ the enemy!
