Summary: We discuss the end time prophecies concerning the timer of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation and beyond, but what about now.

End of Time: 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. KJV.

When Jesus stated these scriptures, He was giving us something to look forward to. He knew that as Christians we were going to have some tough times ahead. So, in reality He was saying don’t let your heart be overwhelmed with discouragement. Don’t look back as did Israel when there seems there is no place to go. Don’t look back as did Lot’s wife longing for the old life. Don’t look back thinking things were better on the other side. James 4:7-8. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. KJV I can assure you that there is a reward that will far out exceed all your problems cause our God is Bigger than all my problems, Bigger than all my fears. God is bigger than any mountain that I can or cannot see. He’s Bigger than all my questions, Bigger than anything. He’s Bigger than all the confusion, Bigger than anything, He’s Bigger than all the giants, of fear and unbelief. He’s Bigger than all my personal hang-ups. He’s Bigger that all my sins. He’s Bigger than anything.

He said, “In my Father's house are many mansions:” I am telling you the truth I cannot lie. Not only do I go to prepare a place for you, but a place also where you can live in peace and joy for eternity, I’m goanna come and get you and take you there. Don’t worry about the transportation, man hasn’t even dreamed about My transportation. Do my will and I will make the way. I have already paid the full price of the fare. You don’t have to buy a ticket; cause money cannot pay the way. Jesus said, I am the way and the only way.

When the Lord ascended into Heaven on the day what some refer to as “The Day of Ascension”, those that were watching were assure once again by the Angels of Heaven of Jesus’s Words, that he would come again and receive them unto Himself, that “this same Jesus which was taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into Heaven.” Prior to His taking up He assured those that were left, Acts 1:8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. KJV

The Lord tells us in Matt. 24 of at least 24 signs of the Second Coming. I will just list a few:

1. Deceptions (v4-5, 11, 24) 6. Sex Crimes (v38)

2. Hatred (v10) 7. Betrayals (9)

3. False prophets (11, 24) 8. False Christs (v5, 23-26)

4. Lawlessness abounding (v12) 9. Wars and Rumors of Wars (v6,7)

5. Increased Satanic powers (v24) 10. Earthquakes (v7)

We can look at all of these signs and prophecy and know that all have been fulfilled. Most are happening as I speak today. Just look at T.V. and compare with the Bible. Jesus said, “Let no man deceive you.”

So in between the time of His leaving and the time of His return He commissioned us to do the works that He did. He knew that we would be persecuted and face hard times for His name sake.

Matt 28:18-20. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. KJV

That’s why He told us to not let it trouble our hearts He would always be with us, and that the reward awaiting us was far greater that the trails and hardships we would face. The Apostle Paul assures the true Christians of our great hope in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
